I was at my local Ford dealer and you’ll never guess how many they had. 2 maybe 3 you’re thinking? Nope. FUCKING 17 of them !!! and this is only what I saw on the lot who knows how many more they have inside. This is not that huge of a dealership. I checked their website and they currently list 21 of them, on top of that NO DEALER MARKUP.
A quick dealer search shows that there is currently 75 GT350's for sale in Canada and 21 of them being at one sole dealership absolutely boggles my mind.
All of them had at least $9,275 in options that bumped the price to $74,024+ which included the track pack. A few of them had the carbon roof that pushed the price to $81K.
How on earth did they get this huge of an allocation?

2015 was limited to 137 cars. 2016 will be closer to 5,000.

But if it’s 5,000 total that would mean less than 1,000 for all of Canada so having over 20 of them at one dealership all of a sudden sounds like a lot.

A quick search of dealers within 100 miles of NYC shows 21 total 2016's still on the lots, and 25 of the 2017 MY.
So yeah, your dealer has a lot!

I just did a national search and I’m only finding 75 GT350's in ALL of Canada.

Sounds like your dealer is starting his own Spec Racing League.

There have been dealerships buying up cars from other dealerships over MSRP so they can sell those cars for even higher over MSRP. I would bet this is one of those cases, but 21 sure is a lot. The most I’ve seen a dealer have is about 10.
They may say MSRP online but a lot of times they are marked up when you get to the dealer. I’ve been seeing it so much with this car. I can’t stand it.

All the stickers are in the window and there is no mention of “market adjustments” Normally they would print a new sticker including the markup.

All 21 will be bought with oil money.

Huh, ok. Well then. If only they were the same price as they were in the U.S. The mark ups right now equal or exceed Canadian pricing. Making it a bit pointless to shop in Canada rather than here...
